The Customer Retention and Sales Specialist contacts targeted customers “at risk” of discontinuing business with xChange. This position assists these customers, encouraging continued business as well as providing a positive experience to retain customer loyalty.

Responsibilities include, make phone sales calls to targeted customers, including customers with missed call cycles or without an assigned sales representative. Service existing accounts on a temporary basis, providing outstanding customer service.  Listens to the customer, assessing their concerns, requirements and product needs in an empathetic manner. Supports and oversees “at risk” relationships throughout the sales cycle. Asks key probing questions to gain an understanding of the customer’s needs. Makes sales to the customer, and  upsells where possible. Educates customer by discussing the features and benefits of company products and services. Provides marketing collateral as appropriate.

RSS Establishes and adheres to a consistent call cycle with accounts to maximize efforts. Recommends reassignment of accounts to sales representatives or ISR as appropriate. Resolves account issues, providing customers with the appropriate options and solutions to maintain a good relationship with the customers.  Refers customer issues to the appropriate cross-functional departments. Creates and communicates technical/process solutions to customers based on product and industry knowledge. Processes quotes/orders, coordinating with customer service to ensure the sale and delivery commitments to at-risk customers are met. Tracks communications with customers, documenting key Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and follow up information in the retention database. Works in conjunction with Coordinator to create reports on a weekly/monthly basis to monitor their portfolio of ‘at-risk’ customers.

Work directly with senior leadership and other corporate / facility leaders on strategies to improve employee morale and talent engagement outcomes. Proactively analyze workforce trends and metrics to develop action plans that increase overall talent engagement and retention.  Monitor facility turnover statistics and develop talent retention strategy for higher turnover locations in conjunction with responsible facility / corporate leadership.    Bring forth recommendations and solutions to ensure high quality, high impact talent engagement, satisfaction, and recognition activities.  Oversee the talent recognition program intended to positively impact talent engagement and retention.  Collect leadership feedback on engagement, satisfaction, and recognition activities and programs, and be able to demonstrate and speak to impact. Responsible for managing and adapting the selected performance management system. Prepares and delivers customized leadership development training programs on topics such as building a great work culture, dimensions of workplace diversity and demonstrating best practices in talent recognition. Assist in the creation of recruiting content for external social media channels and other digital platforms that positively promotes XCompanies.

Establish and manage an effective business development program to maximize organization growth. Serve as overall customer relationship manager and strategic business partner responsible for developing and expanding new business opportunities.  Director must maintain in-depth knowledge of all XCompanies services for appropriate cross-sell opportunities. Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing relationships. Establish and execute a comprehensive sales plan for each target account. Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within Account and develop deep knowledge of the customer organization.Actively network in the industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities. Analyze potential opportunities and develop sales strategies for each customer account. Monitor actions and results against plans.

Establish brand recognition. Educate team participants in customer culture, operational needs/methods and sales techniques needed to close the sale. Utilize CRM to establish reports and dashboards to analyze business development and sales activities and track progress. Provide overall support and serves as a mentor for junior sales staff members.

This position will work within the Network Systems support team which is closely tied to most of the development organisations, including the IT, IP Engineering, and Operational Support Service. This position will have experience in developing network and systems management and monitoring solutions for increasingly complex and scaled network environments with off the shelf and custom tools. Responsibilities include, gaining knowledge on existing and emerging network monitoring and management systems and apply that knowledge to resolving network management challenges.  Developer will research, compile and deliver techniques, tools, configurations, templates, etc., for inclusion into the company intellectual property pool.
Developer will Ensure compliance with change control processes and adherence to standards. May lead projects with small to moderately sized scope and teams. May act as a consultant on special projects for multiple teams. Support existing internally-built monitoring and provisioning systems comprised of LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql, and Perl). Deep understanding of Operating Systems such as: Debian, Slackware, FreeBSD, CentOS, IOS, and Windows 2008+. Build tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development and production environments. Moderate level understanding of Networks (VLAN, subnetting, routing, switching) (CCNA or equivalent experience). Equipment familiarity of Fortinet, Cisco, Nokia, Juniper, Brocade, Adtran.
Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting SMTP/IMAP/POP email servers (Dovecot, Courier, Postfix, Squirrelmail, Amavisd). Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting web servers (Apache, IIS, nginx). Design, implement, and maintain server, storage, network, and security infrastructure, as well as disaster recovery and business continuity architecture.
Some web design skills will be required (HTML,PHPO, CMS Javascript/CSS; Bootstrap, JQuery, wordpress). Comfortable in protocols such as but not limited to Telnet/SSH/SNMP/TL1/SOAP/REST/DNS/SQL/SMTP/IMAP/POP3/HTTPS/FTP/SSL/TLS/SIP
